- ## How do I get Prime through Metro?
Starting 9/17/26, Prime is no longer offered for new customers in our current Metro rate plans, but customers who activated a qualifying plans before 9/17/26 can still access the benefit. If you activated a qualifying plan before 9/17/26, you should have received a text after activation directing you to create or sign in to your Amazon account and activate Prime. - ## How do I check to see if my Prime membership is covered by my Metro plan?
You can visit the ‘Manage Your Prime Membership’ page at [amazon.com/gp/primecentral/](https://www.amazon.com/gp/primecentral/) and under the billing section the method of payment will be indicated near the top left of the page. You can also call Metro customer care at 1-888-8Metro8 to confirm if Prime is a part of your rate plan.

If you already have a Prime membership, and were on an eligible plan prior to 9/17/2026, you can transition your membership to be billed through Metro. - ## How long do I get access to Prime?
As long as you stay active on a qualifying Metro rate plan, your Prime membership continues.
- ## How do I cancel a Prime membership that is activated through a qualifying Metro rate plan?
Prime was included as an option with select qualifying Metro rate plans. If you wish to cancel your Prime benefit, please visit the ‘Manage Your Prime Membership’ page at [metrobyt-mobile.com/manageamazonprime.html](https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/manageamazonprime.html).
- ## What happens to my Prime membership if I change my rate plan?
If you switch to a Metro rate plan that doesn't include Prime, your Prime membership will be automatically canceled.
- ## What happens to my Prime membership if my Metro account is suspended?
If your Metro account is suspended for more than 24 hours your Prime __membership__ will also be suspended. Once you make your monthly Metro service payment your Prime __membership__ will start again within 24 hours.
- ## What Happens if my Metro account is canceled?
If your account is canceled, whether due to nonpayment or for any other reason, your Prime membership will be canceled, and you will lose access to Amazon Prime.
