- ## What devices are eligible for Affirm financing?
All devices, including phones, tablets, home internet gateways and watches are eligible for Affirm Financing.
- ## Are accessories eligible for Affirm financing?
Yes, accessories are eligible for Affirm financing but must meet the minimum transaction amount based on the financing plan you have chosen.
- ## Who do I make my monthly payment to?
You will make your loan financing monthly payments to Affirm. In addition, you will make your monthly wireless service payment, including any value-added services, to Metro by T-Mobile.
- ## Can I use Autopay for my Payments?
Both Affirm and Metro by T-Mobile can set up Autopay for making monthly payments for the respective offers.
- ## Who is eligible for Affirm financing?
Anyone 18 or older (19 in Nebraska) is eligible to apply for Affirm financing at the time of purchase. Eligibility for Affirm financing will be determined during the application process.
- ## Are any states not eligible to provide Affirm financing?
All 50 states are eligible for Affirm financing programs.
- ## Are customers in Puerto Rico eligible for Affirm financing?
Affirm financing is not yet available for our Puerto Rico customers.
- ## Is Affirm financing available in all stores?
Affirm financing is available in participating stores.
- ## What do I do with my phone at the end of my financed period?
You own your phone.
- ## What if I break the device, I financed through Affirm?
In the event of a broken, lost, stolen device, you are still responsible for paying off your Affirm financing loan.
- ## What happens if I cancel or stop paying for my Metro by T-Mobile service?
Canceling your service does not affect your Affirm financing payments. You are still responsible for making all payments as agreed to at the time of purchase.
- ## Can I pay off my device early?
Yes, you can pay off your device at any time without penalty.
- ## What happens if I miss/am late on a payment?
If you miss or are late with a payment you will have payments in arrears but will not experience any late fees. If you continue to be in default, you cannot take out more Affirm loans.
Your financial relationship is to Affirm and defaults on your device payments to Affirm will negatively impact your credit.
- ## When can I upgrade my device? Do I have to pay off my phone first?
Existing customers are eligible for a device upgrade with 365 days or more tenure. You are still responsible for the finance agreement with Affirm if you decide to upgrade your Metro device before the financed amount is paid in full.
- ## Can I trade in my current device for credit when I use Affirm financing for a new device?
Yes, you can trade in your existing device for credit (if applicable). The credit, and any other promotions you are eligible for, will be applied prior to determining the amount financed by Affirm.
- ## If I am adding multiple lines, can I finance multiple devices?
You can finance multiple devices if approved by Affirm. (One device per active line)
- ## How many Affirm finance loans can I have at the same time?
You may finance as many devices as you request, if you are approved by Affirm.
