What is Premium Service Bundle?

The Premium Service Bundle is our best device protection.  Metro by T-Mobile has bundled device insurance with four additional services to help keep your device protected against unexpected threats, and unwanted calls.  These services can be purchased as standalone services but packaged together, they make the best of your Metro by T-Mobile experience!"

Device Protection Benefits: 

  • Comprehensive coverage for loss and theft, accidental damage, including liquid damage and malfunctions due to mechanical or electrical breakdown after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.
  • Next business-day shipping, when available, at no additional cost for claims approved before 8:30 p.m. EST.
  • You may enroll in Premium Handset Protection® or PHP Device Insurance while making a qualified Metro by T-Mobile device purchase or upgrade, or when you bring your own eligible device to Metro. Device insurance must be added within 30 days of activation and requires a visual mechanical inspection. To inquire about or add device protection, please visit your nearest Metro by T-Mobile store.
  • You can enroll in McAfee® Security for Metro® by T-Mobile with ID Theft Protection at any time.

  2. Add the recommended service through MyMetro or by calling customer service.

What is Select Shared Calling?
    Our unlimited talk and text plans are for direct communication between two people. Calls to other types of services like chat lines, conference calls, radio broadcasts, and others aren’t always included. Select Shared Calling service provides a bucket of minutes for certain numbers that are outside of Metro by T-Mobile's plans like chat lines.
What does Select Shared Calling provide?
  • This feature allows customers who call certain numbers that are not included within Metro by T-Mobile's plans. Metro by T-Mobile’s plans are for direct communication between two people.
How it Works
  1. Customer calls a number that is not included in their Metro by T-Mobile plan.
  2. Instead of being connected, the customer hears an announcement stating they need to add Select Shared Calling.
  3. To complete the call the customer will need to visit their local store or contact Customer Care at 1-888-8metro8 to add the $3 for 300 minutes or $10 for 1000 minutes of Select Shared Calling service.
