Gather what you need to transfer your number to T-Mobile. Number transfer is needed to complete migration to T-Mobile, whether you get a new device or bring your own. If you received a new T-Mobile device, a number transfer is required to retain promotional credits for that device, and not completing within 14 days of account activation will result in the full price of your new device appearing on your bill.
What you'll need:
- Temporary T-Mobile number (provided via email)
- Metro phone number (current number to be transferred to T-Mobile)
- Transfer PIN (follow these instructions to get your unique 6-digit Transfer PIN)
- Download or open the myMetro® app on your Metro device and log in.
- Select the Manage tab and find the line you want to transfer.
- Select Manage This Line, then Request a Transfer PIN.
- Select Get a transfer PIN. PIN for phone number will display.
- Transfer PIN valid for 7 days.

- Download or open the myMetro® app on your Metro device and log in.
- Select the Manage tab.
- Scroll to Additional Tasks and select View Payment History.
- Select View on any bill.
- Locate your account number.
