As part of this effort, we’ll be retiring the older T-Mobile 2G (GSM) network. We are committed to keeping our valued customers informed of network updates, and therefore we are providing you formal notice that T-Mobile is retiring its 2G (GSM) network on April 2, 2024.

As a customer with one or more 2G-dependent devices, you’ll need to replace your device before April 2, 2024 to be able to continue using your T-Mobile service without disruption, including the ability to make 911 calls depending on your location.

What does this mean for you?
