Terms of Service Applicable to (1) International Roaming; and (2) International Long Distance
Use of Metro by T-Mobile International Roaming Services, and International Long Distance Services are each subject to the Metro by T-Mobile Terms and Conditions, including requiring individual mandatory arbitration of disputes, instead of class actions or jury trials.
(1) International Roaming Terms of Service
These are Terms of Service applicable to your use of International Roaming Service.
Metro by T-Mobile does not provide service outside of the United States. International Roaming Service is offered through agreements with third party international carriers and requires a compatible device. Service is available only in select countries and areas, and availability, coverage, and quality are not guaranteed. Some features (such as voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting) may be limited or unavailable.
You are responsible for ensuring your device is authorized for use abroad. Your usage is subject to the rates, limits, and terms of the applicable international roaming provider, as well as local laws and regulations. Metro by T-Mobile is not responsible for service availability outside of its control. Usage near country borders may be carried by a neighboring country’s network.
To use our International Roaming Service, you must be a customer in good standing, have active, fully paid Metro by T-Mobile service. Visit metrobyt-mobile.com or a Metro by T-Mobile store for more information on available international coverage.
Our content licenses do not allow access to Metro by T-Mobile content outside the United States. Your usage of certain applications, features or devices abroad may violate third party intellectual property rights and Metro by T-Mobile is not be responsible for such claims.
(2) International Long Distance Terms of Service
These are Terms of Service applicable to your use of International Long Distance (ILD) Services.
Personal use Only. ILD Services are for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be resold, loaned, or rented to others. You may not use ILD Services for commercial purposes, including calling, hosting, or operating chat lines, multi-party, or group services. Metro by T-Mobile may, in its sole discretion, determine that certain usage or calling patterns constitute commercial or non-personal use, and may suspend, restrict or terminate your service without notice. If you believe your service was suspended in error, you may contact Customer Care at 1-888-8metro8. However, repeated, non-personal use may result in permanent suspension without reactivation.
Service Areas. ILD Services are available only within Metro by T-Mobile service areas and may not work in areas served by roaming partners.
Limitations. LD Services allow calls to select destinations internationally but do not support all destinations or call types. Calls to non-geographic and premium numbers are excluded. Available destinations may change without notice. Compatible devices must be registered on our U.S. network before international use. For details on included destinations, or to purchase a calling card in order to call a destination or phone number that is not part of the ILD Services area, visit a Metro by T-Mobile store. Roaming is not included as part of your ILD Services, unless expressly provided otherwise.
Third-Party Carriers and VoIP. ILD Services are provided by third-party carriers, including some without a direct contractual relationship or service level agreement with Metro by T-Mobile, and may differ from services offered by other carriers. Some calls may be delivered via Voice over Internet Protocol ("VoIP"). Service may be affected by events outside our control, such as power outages, Internet fluctuations, or maintenance. Accordingly, LD services are provided on a best-efforts basis.
Rates and Coverage. Rates, features, and coverage are subject to change and are not available everywhere.
