First time ever at this location. I live on Federal Hill and have gone to Dorrance St location for many years. Close to me and in my travels + they have a kiosk to self-pay yr bill without waiting for a rep. That said, I work in Johnston (Killingly St/Hartford Ave) and went to this nearby location because my 2025 Moto 5G phone got stolen. Went in w/a previously active T-mobile Samsung Galaxy phone and was able to keep my same ph# and activate without my original SIM card for less than $100 including transfer fee, new SIM card + paying my monthly bill. The employee on shift, Dilia, was working alone and had 3 customers waiting when we walked in. All I can say is she treated every customer before me, and then myself included, with the same level of customer service that most companies advertise but rarely actually deliver. I personally witnessed these transactions and was highly impressed with how thorough she was with two older customers that obviously didn't grow up with a cell/smartphone and get stuck sometimes. She made sure they understood the steps she took to help them and that they truly understood and could do it themselves. She listened to my situation and seamlessly processed the activation of a phone I didn't even buy at her store. It was a multi step process with calls to MetroPCS and confirming the compatibility of my 'foreign' phone with Metro/T-Mobile's network with clear and understandable, transparent language and possible complications. In the end, she was able to get me back online for much less $ than I expected and wad totally worth the waiting time. I told her i would definitely be coming back to this store when/if I need a new phone or any issues I have in the future. Dilia is a top notch employee who noticably takes pride in giving great customer service and helping your existing + future customers and making sure they leave the store MORE than just satisfied. I saw what I know from my own work/life experience as 'above + beyond' the standard service. GIVE THIS GIRL/LADY A RAISE! She's worth it. View on Google
