Metro PCS review. I have been Metro PCS customer since 2017 and I am writing this review, for my visit to the metro pcs store and their Customer service. I wanted to change my phone plan to the ($25/month unlimited talk/data plan). Around Sep 18, I tried to do this on the metro pcs website. It did not work, website said I needed a new Sim card. So on my way to get a hamburger for dinner, I went to the metro pcs store at 23663 Sunnymead Blvd. The Store AC was down so it was very hot. There was no line. I Explained the situation to the attractive employee who was helping me and she happily sold me a Sim Card for 10 doller (not refundable). 10/10 customer service. So I went home and tried to change my phone plan on the Metro PCS website ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS! and it did not work. I wasted 10 Dollers. I called customer service, and they could not change my plan, and they transferd me to someone else. The new customer service rep offered me (unlimited data and calls for $35/month), and I asked about the ($25 unlimited data/calls for bringing my own device) and I was told the lowest they could go was ($40 unlimted data/calls). I asked to speak with a supervisor. After being on hold fof 40 minutes, the superviser told me the lowest they could do was ($40 unlimted data/calls). They would not give me the ($25 unlimited data/calls for bringing my own device). The Rep told me that if I went back to a store, they could get me the (unlimited data and calls for $35/month). A few days later on Sep 25, I went back to the metro pcs store, and thankfully they fixed the AC. There was a long line. The attractive employee, whom sold me the sim card previously, was there again and was helping customers. Another employee in a black shirt with a great smile offered to help me. I Did not have much time because had my food order waiting for me and I have to paint my house. But she had a great smile and she convinced me to stay so we could get me a lower bill. 10/10 customer service. So She called customer service number to change my plan, and the guy on the phone said I could get the ($40 unlimted data/calls), to which I agreed, my account was updated to the new plan. The cute employee in the black shirt then noticed that they DID NOT give me unlimted data, but capped data at 10gb a month. So the customer service guy changed my plan to the wrong plan and hung up on the store employee before she could say anything. So, the store employee spent the next 45 minutes calling various customer service people trying to get my cell phone plan changed ….BACK TO MY ORIGINAL PLAN!!!!! So now, my cell phone service is crap, my dinner was ruined and I wanted a blue gator-aide to quench my thirst. I am very happy with the (2) store employees at (23663 Sunnymead blvd) who were with me every step of this journey. We worked, struggled, and tried; but we were crushed by absolutly stupid Metro PCS customer service reps who offer plans, features and services over the phone and the don’t deliver. They waste everyones time and screw customers, employees and animals out of good phone service. TLDR, Metro PCS store employees hot and helpful, but the phone reps are absolute garbage.
