At any Metro® by
Device protection may only be added during a "qualifying event". This is within 30 days of a qualified device purchase or activation--or when bringing your own phone to Metro. An in-store visual mechanical inspection is required if you add device protection after the purchase. Qualifying events apply to new activations or upgrade devices with no previous network history.
After you enroll, your coverage documents will be delivered to you. You can also view your coverage on the Metro Protection app by Assurant or go to My Documents on mymetroclaim.com, our dedicated claims site.
