    Refer a Friend

    The Metro by T-Mobile (“Metro”) refer-a-friend promotion (the "Promotion") is being promoted by Metro by T-Mobile, having its registered office at T-Mobile Customer Relations, P.O. Box 37380, Albuquerque, NM 87176-7380 (the 'Company'). Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions govern the Promotion.

     

    The Offer

    1. Any existing Metro by T-Mobile customer who has been a Metro customer for at least 30 days can participate by registering their name, mobile number and email address at https://www.MetrobyT-Mobile.com/refer-a-friend. Upon registration, you will become a referrer ("Referrer/s") and will be given a unique web link to share with friends and family who are not already Metro by T-Mobile, T-Mobile, and/or Sprint customers ("Friends") and who are happy to receive the link from you.
    2. Friends must use the link to register their full name, phone number and email address and make a "Qualifying Purchase" as explained below.
    3. After 65 days of a Friend joining Metro, the Referrer will each receive a link to claim a $25 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® ("Reward"), subject to these Terms & Conditions, delivered by email to the email addresses used to register for the Promotion (the "Offer"). Rewards may be subject to availability and/or reward links may be active only for a limited period. Unless set out otherwise, you must use the reward link to claim a reward within 12 months of the link being sent to you. Prepaid Mastercard® terms apply. Not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, merchandise or other alternatives.
    4. This Offer may not be combinable or available with certain other offers or promotions.
    5. Referrers’ and Friends’ ("Users") personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Promotion. Metro by T-Mobile will comply with all requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
    6. Metro by T-Mobile reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion and / or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms & Conditions, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
    7. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Facebook or any other form of social media. By entering this Promotion, Users are providing information to Metro by T-Mobile and not to Twitter or Facebook and agree to release Twitter and Facebook from any liability associated with the Promotion.

     

    Qualifying Purchases

    A "Qualifying Purchase" is the porting of a qualified phone number from an eligible carrier and activating that number on a plan from Metro by T-Mobile within 15 days of using the referral link to register your information.

    • a. "Qualified phone numbers" are those who are porting their phone number from any carrier other than T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile or Sprint. Friends must not have been a Metro by T-Mobile customer in the past 180 days to be eligible.
    • b. Each Friend must remain a Metro by T-Mobile for at least 65 days before the Referrer will entitled to receive a Virtual Prepaid MasterCard gift card, up to a total maximum of $125;
    • c. Each Friend must create a new account for the Referrer to be entitles to receive a Virtual Prepaid Mastercard. Friends who join an existing Metro account will not be eligible.
    • d. Purchases made at third-party sellers do not qualify. Purchases that are returned during the Change of Mind period or otherwise disconnected or in arrears do not qualify. Any Friends and / or Referrers suspected of fraud will be immediately disqualified at Metro by T-Mobile’s sole discretion.
