Looks like your phone needs a software update

  • Find your device below and follow the steps to check for a software update.
  • If you don't see your device or the steps don't work, please stop by your nearest Metro by T-Mobile store and we will be glad to assist you.

Apple

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  2. If an update is available, tap to download and install.

Samsung

  1. From the Home screen tap Settings > Software update > Download and install.
  2. Tap Ok > Start. When the restart message appears, tap OK.

LG

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > System > Update Center.
  2. Tap System update > Check for updates.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the latest software update.

One Plus

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap System update > Check for updates.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to update to the latest software.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Cellular or Cellular Data.
  2. If you have an iPhone with an eSIM, tap the line you're making changes to.
  3. Tap Cellular Data Options, then tap the Enable LTE toggle.
  4. If you don't see the toggle, tap Voice & Data or Data and choose LTE.

Samsung

  1. Open the Settings app and tap Mobile Networks. If you don't see it, tap Connections first.
  2. Tap Network Mode and choose an option that says LTE.

LG

  1. From your apps list, tap Settings > Network > Mobile networks.
  2. Tap Network mode and choose an option that says LTE.

OnePlus

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi & internet > SIM & network > Preferred network type.
  3. Choose an option that says LTE.

  2. If you have an iPhone with an eSIM, tap the line you're making changes to.
  3. Tap Enable LTE and choose Voice & Data.

Samsung

  1. Open the Settings app and tap Connections > Mobile networks.
  2. Slide the VoLTE calls switch to the ON or OFF position.
  3. If it's not there open the Phone app, press the Menu icon with three dots, and check in Settings.

LG

  1. From any home screen, tap Phone.
  2. Tap Menu > Call settings.
  3. Tap the VoLTE switch to turn it on or off.
